LET FREEDOM RING

The fourth has always been my favorite holiday.. And I don't see that changing anytime soon. I LOVE it. I love that there are no presents, no birthday cake.. We are simply celebrating the freedoms we have. And the watermelon.. Oh the watermelon! I love the parades as well. We go to the Westpoint parade because it's very uncrowded (is that a word..) and you get plenty of candy :) We also always go to the Kaysville parade, just my dad and brothers and I because nobody else wants to brave it, it's very hot and very crowded.. But I still love it!
I forget how tall he is..
^^ this is so typical.. Nobody loves me
After the parades, we go to my grandma's for slip n' slides, watermelon, family, and fun. I love that my WHOLE family is here over the fourth, everyone flies in for it. I feel like heaven will be like that.. Endless family, endless watermelon. Ya feel me?

And while we were all there, we surprised my grandma with a Happy Retirement party! My cute cousin Annie helped me with this sign.

Just a few more cute pictures..

                                                             hahahaha

This little Porter is too smart for his own good. This video.. I could watch it over and over again. Too sweet!
We always have a yummy dinner at grandma's, then we go to the fireworks!!! They are SO loud and HUGE. You feel like they are going to fall right down on you. There was a moment during the fireworks when America the Beautiful by Ray Charles was playing (you know, the one off of sandlot) and my family was all around me and the fireworks were covering the entire sky.. If I could just freeze that moment, I'd live in it forever (Daniel and Brennan would be there too of course.) I LOVE IT ALL. I literally cried when they day was over. Until next year, America!
