OCTOBER IS OBER

Get it? Like over, but ober... Anyway. I love October! Such a pretty month. Especially in Utah with the mountains and the chill that comes in the air. I had a good October this year and thought I'd just do a little catch up on what I've been up to.
We celebrated Coop's birthday. And Livie's and Mia's as well

Aren't they cute? And I'll throw a little picture of Scarlet in there because she is so sweet.

Iiii got married

Just kidding.. But that is a pretty dress don't you think? October would be a pretty month to get married. Anywho, I went to the corn maze with some pretty cool cats..

The punkin farm was CLOSED when we went. So we went to my grandma's and got little teensy pumpkins from her yard. Aren't they cute??

Then we went to Deacon's birthday party because how cute is he.. He might even be cuter than those pumpkins..

I had a couple scary move nights.. I really hate scary movies, I don't know why I watch them every year?

 

I went on lots of runs and bike rides.. Fall is the perfect time for that don't you think? I love love love the colors and the temperature, not too hot not too cold. This picture is from a bike ride we took that was 25 miles.. Ha. So worth it though!

I've made a TON of these pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.. SO GOOD.

I went on a date to Haunted Hollow.. I wish we would've gotten a picture.. It was so fun!

We put up Halloween décor for the first time EVER. I'm serious, my mom has never decorated for Halloween until this year.. She says it always looks tacky. But she somehow made it look tasteful this year. We put this huge purple witch hat in our living room and I made this little pumpkin out of toilet paper so I guess you could say I'm pretty crafty.

(it just seemed fitting to put it on my head like the hat)

We had a rockin party at my grandma's like we do every year, complete with dry ice rootbeer and the cutest cousins IN THE WORLD. By the time I got off work and got over there though everyone was out of costume :(

 

It was a little bright :)

Also, just look how perfect Sabra's house looks. I would SO live there if I could. It is the most charming little house.

I went and got French toast with Beth, all you can eat. And I was definitely ready for this picture :)

Then... Halloween came! It snuck right up on me.. I um... I've had better Halloweens hahahaha.. But Beth and I made the most of it! We made cool zombie cupcakes so that's a plus.. And we watched Halloween movies and walked around the neighborhood and saw everyone's cute costumes. It was pretty fun but I fell asleep at 9:30 sooo..

I'm obviously harry potter, and that my friends is the Dark Sith or something? Dark Lord Sith.. Darth Sidius.. What? Well anyway, we know how to party :) despite a mediocre Halloween, the colors and leaves were just as vibrant as ever!

 

I love love October. And now it's November.. And Christmas music is already starting on the radio so there's that. :) I may or may not have already watched Its A Wonderful Life 3x......
