Being engaged!

Daniel and I were engaged for 3 months, which seems really short (and it is) but let me tell you, it felt  super super long haha! A crazy busy 3 months full of planning and working and never seeing each other, but also being so in love!!! The day after we got engaged, we met Daniels family up at Causey reservoir and kayaked and cliff jumped and showed off my ring 😉

This summer was one of my favorites. There's something so special about being engaged! A week after all of this ^ Daniel came with my family to the manti pageant! This is one of my favorite family traditions. Daniel came with us once before he left on his mission and it was so good to have him back.

A few weeks later in, Daniel came with us to Cedar City and St George. We were originally going down to see Logan but decided to make it a trip and hike Angels Landing! About a month before Brennan left on his mission, we went to Cedar City and St George so him and Logan could say goodbye and we decided to hike Angels Landing. Well we didn't realize how high up and scary it was haha! we only made it to scouts lookout so this year we knew since Brennan was back we had to hike all the way to the top. It was a little scary (Daniel was pretty nervous lol) but it wasn't very hard and we all had a really good time! We stayed in a hotel and went swimming and went through the lava tunnels again and ate at fun restaurants and just had a good time being all together! And the night we got home from this trip, Mckay opened his mission call to Oregon! 

Also, this is during Mckay's mission call opening, we just thought we'd practice being parents ;)

This is just a fun picture. Daniel and I worked opposite shifts for a lot of our engagement so we soaked up moments of just being able to lay together enjoy each other's company

We went to institute together every Tuesday night and it was a really special thing to do while we were engaged. This sign was on the was in the classroom... Hm, guess we made the right choice! (It says "the most important thing to the Lord.... The 21st" and we knew we were getting married on September 21)

This is when we went to stadium of fire!!!! Tim McGraw was performing and Daniel surprised me with tickets for my birthday ( which is another thing I have to blog about, he gave me the best birthday!) and we had SO MUCH FUN!!! Madi and Mckay were also there and we saw them afterwards and went to this little dance party in the street with them and danced the night away! Lol it was such a fun, perfect summer night!

Being engaged is the best, especially when its to this guy.
