The rest of the day was spent in park city, with my beloved pine trees!!! We rode the alpine slide and drove around and looked at the houses and played a random piano in the street and took a nap in the shade ( we were up early) and ate at kneaders and then GUESS WHAT THE DAYS NOT OVER WE WENT TO SPAGHETTI FACTORY!!! then came home and showed my family my ring and got so excited all over again. Daniel's family was camping so we showed them the next day. What a perfect day. And here I sit in front of our fireplace in our apartment thinking about how lucky I am to be married to Daniel.

Getting ENGAGED!!!!
Well. Seeing as Daniel and I have been married for a month and a half now, I figured I'd write about our engagement 😂 Daniel proposed to me on September 15, 2016! What is it with the Pehrson's and the 15th?! We had gone ring shopping a couple months before and I picked out a pear shaped diamond, solitaire setting with a thin gold band. Buuut we had to wait a while for the right diamond, apparently pear shaped diamonds aren't very common. Anyway. I knew Daniel was waiting for the diamond and I knew he would propose at some point but I had no idea when. My favorite holiday is the 4th of July, so I thought maybe he was waiting for that or for my birthday. So the day before when he asked me to go to the temple with him the following morning, I didn't think much of it. His family was going camping for the weekend so he told me we were going to the temple in the morning, then he'd drop me off and go with his family. So I wake up 5 minutes before he gets to my house, don't do my hair or makeup, and we leave for the temple. I looked great 🙄 On the way there I started to get SO carsick. By the time we got to the temple, I was trying so hard not to puke everywhere. So I got out of the car and laid in the parking lot by the gutter 😂😂😂 meanwhile, Daniel is getting a little nervous cause things are not going according to plan. We knew we wanted to get married in the bountiful temple so his plan was to hike up to this lookout spot and propose there. But I obviously was in no mood to hike. He politely kept asking when I wanted to hike up there and I started to get a little suspicious..... I though I might puke on the way up but I told him we could go. So we hiked up there and I didn't puke (!!!) and he set up his camera to "take a picture" then dropped to one knee and told me he loved me and asked me to marry him!! I was shocked! And also trying not to blow chunks on his face! Of course I said yes and we started freaking out a little cause we were so excited! Luckily Daniel has it all on video.
