The drive up there
I took a picture of this cute light house for Beth because she loves them!
The cabin my family and I stayed at last year.
The theme for this year.. All things Dr Suess
Brooke and I.. Excuse my fried face..
We stopped for Raspberry shakes after, which were SO GOOD.

awkward family photo
Fun Fact: the campsite the girls were staying at that we went back to for dinner was the EXACT SAME campsite as my first ever girls camp. That first year and this year were the only two years we ever went anywhere other than camp woodland. I made a full circle :)
I remember this creepy building from my first year.... Kenzie told us ghost stories in our tent and then we all got our flashlights out and headed to the creepy abandoned building at midnight.... Except we chickened out :)
We played a game called "bean boozled" where you spin the wheel and it tells you two flavors of jelly beans, one good, one nasty. You have to pick the color it says and cross your fingers that it's the good flavor, not the nasty one. But most of the time it was. I got skunk spray, dog food, booger, barf... I can't even think about it, it seriously was SO GROSS. You could smell them before you even put them in your mouth. YUCK. Here are some people biting into nasty ones..
So gross.... But girls camp was so fun. I loved going up with my mom. We talked and jammed out to music the whole way up there and she let me have my window rolled down the whole way. I love quality time like that with her. Our playlist consisted of this, this, this, this, and this, if you were wondering :)
I love the balance at girls camp between the spiritual side of it and the fun. I owe a lot of my testimony to experiences up at girls camp. I'm going to miss it, but I had a good 8 years!
