So we got married on September 21, 2016. (which also happens to be Joe and Tiff's 10th wedding anniversary, thanks for sharing your day with us guys)
I remember the stress of leading up to the wedding was just getting to be SO much for both of us, we were just to the point where we were saying "I don't care" to every question about decorations, cake, songs, etc. We just wanted to be married!! I can't forget the few days leading up to the wedding, how many people came to help me. People were just crawling out of the woodworks to help with our big day! We had so many ladies from the ward (and family) come over to our house to help dip caramel apples (which was really such a pain but also so fun and they looked so pretty!) and that in itself took a whole Saturday. Then Tuesday night before our wedding we had SO many people come to my grandmas to help set up our wedding. Angee was the boss and just gave everyone assignments the whole day and my dad was so sweet to do all this stuff on his birthday. Everything looked so BEAUTIFUL!!!
I woke up the morning of our wedding feeling every emotion in the book.. Mostly just so excited! Daniel did the sweetest thing and left me a journal he had started when we got engaged til the day of our wedding and on every page there's a reason why he is excited to marry me. That got the tears flowin! I got lucky with him. My family and I had a family prayer then drove to the temple so Daniel and I could be sealed!! It was so special to have so many people we love packed into the sealing room. As Daniel and I were sealed and pronounced husband and wife, I'll never forget the feeling of love and peace that washed over me. Walking out of the temple hand in hand was INCREDIBLE!!
"My reception, my reception" :) Really our reception was so so beautiful and beyond anything I could've imagined. All the hard work paid off and being there celebrating with our loved ones as husband and wife was perfect. We felt so blessed.
Perfect night. I could relive it over and over!
And of course, our incredible wedding video!
